Cant believe, 15 days have already gone by and my lipstick challenge is still going strong. Mind you we still have 35 lipsticks reviews to do. For day 16, I am picking up ROSY SUNDAY from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range. I have been lucky enough o get hold of most of the colors from 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range and thankfully I am quite impressed. Let’s apply it and see how this one fares.
It’s a beautiful coral pink shade, perfect for the day time and apt for the office wear. The application is smooth like a feather; One gentle swipe on your lips is perfect to get the shade. Do not rub it else it might just look cakey. This entire range by LAKME has primer & matte finish. Primers are basically to make sure that the lipstick gives out the perfect color which is even and doesn’t settle in the fine lines of your lips. Primer also makes sure that the lips remain hydrated and lipstick doesn’t look chapped. I would say ROSY SUNDAY from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range is a gem found. It keeps your lips moisturized. Coming to the Matte bit, well the first application will be matte unless you rub the stick too much on your lips. Basically, all you need is one swipe of ROSY SUNDAY from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range on your lips for the perfect matte effect
It’s a light color on your lips and also decently non transferrable. ROSY SUNDAY from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range has a very sweet fragrance which you will definitely not mind.
Priced at 400 INR, ROSY SUNDAY from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range is packaged in a rose gold colored metallic body. There is no color indication on the packaging of the lipstick which makes it quiet a task to identify the lipstick from the rest. The oval shape of the lipstick doesn’t allow me to make perfect edges at the corner of the lips (P.S I have Medium thin lips) though it can be managed.
My final words on ROSY SUNDAY from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE range has to be in favor of it since this is a great shade for office wear / day wear with some good qualities and affordable price.
