Thursday’s have always been special for me. The reason being I was born on a Thursday. Therefore, I decided to choose a color which is very like me. A color which can be my ultimate GO-TO lipshade. For 6th day of fifty shades of lips challenge, I picked up a shade from LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER + MATTE Range. MP 17 ROSY MIND is the color of the day.
I have realized one thing, lipsticks can totally disguise you. You don’t know it’s real color till the time you don’t apply it. LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER MATTE MP 17 ROSY MIND Looked more like a shade of Red but as soon as I applied I found it to be a beautiful shade of pink with red undertones.
This entire range of LAKME 9 TO 5 PRIMER MATTE has inbuilt moisturizing qualities of Primer so you better don’t apply anything on your lips to enjoy the real shade and texture of MP 17 ROSY MIND. The application is extremely smooth. MP 17 ROSY MIND by Lakme 9 TO 5 PRIMER MATTE is a matte in true sense. The staying capacity of this range is decent. MP 17 ROSY MIND by Lakme left an extremely beautiful pink color to my lips as the lipstick faded out after couple of meals. The consistency of lip color makes sure that there is no bleeding or feathering.
Priced at 480 INR, It is packaged in a rose gold colored metallic body. The oval shape of the lipstick doesn’t allow me to make perfect edges at the corner of the lips (P.S I have Medium thin lips) though it can be managed.
With 9 TO 5 PRIMER MATTE, Lakme has come up with 30 new shades ranging from nudes to darkest of pink, red & browns. MP 17 ROSY MIND is one of those pretty shades which are must haves for the evenings. Though this lipcolor might look little over-the-top if worn during day in the office or at a meeting.
