#STATEMENTSLEEVES PART 1

2017 has been a year of experimentation for fashion.  It has been year for all those yearn for comfort too and not just style. ILL fitted denim, boyfriend shirts, denim short, shirt dress all these trended across the globe and  has taken most of the space in our wardrobes. To be precise this year has been more about the asymmetric in clothes. In fact, sleeves have also taken a new shape this year.

Fashion has dwelled a long time into the basic sleeves or no sleeves at all. With the current fad of experimental sleeves, I will be putting up three different sleeves designs which have caught my attention.

These sleeves are called Statement sleeves for a reason. Not only these have taken the designing and cuts of outfits to a new level but also they bring up the sass in you by making you stand apart from anything which is ordinary. These statement sleeves add the X-factor to your persona that one actually doesn’t need anything else to accessorise the look.

With this post, I will be introducing you to one of my favourite designs which now has been carved into a great style of Sleeves. I have always been a fan of ruffles, Be it on front of my tops, dresses or even my bags for that matter. There is so much play of fabrics in Ruffles that it has always been an integral part of my styling. As we know Ruffles are making waves this year in different formats and one of the trending ways to carry ruffles is as your sleeves

How to Carry ruffle sleeves :

Well since these are statement sleeves you need not accessorise yourself so that the focus is on the drama these sleeves create. You can pair it with anything which is fitted. I chose to wear a fitted black jeggings with the Ruffle sleeve top. You can choose to keep your hair open. Since the ones that I am wearing is single shoulder ruffle sleeve top, I tied my hair for a bit to flaunt my collar-bone

The pure silk top with Statement Ruffle sleeves in teal color looks extremely Ethereal. The fabric is adding the much need flow, shape and bounce to the statement sleeves. Not only it was such a fun to wear something of this sort but also getting clicked was the cherry on cake here.
