Welcome to the day 50 of 50shades of lips. I Can’t believe I have reached the end of it 50 lipstick challenge and today is the last lippy day. By the way , I also leave for Koh Samui, My vacation + work trip tomorrow. I just Can’t wait for the trip to get started. Anyway, Coming back to the lipstick review, I have picked a shade of orange for today. I will be wearing 05 DEWY ORANGE BY LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR. Let’s do the lip swatches first!
I actually wonder why is it called dewy orange . May be because It has slight amount of glitter in it . To be honest , it is far from giving me the dewy look. 05 DEWY ORANGE BY LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR is a shade of Orange with glitter/ shimmer in it. The application is smooth and not grainy at all, however make sure your lips are not chapped. The pigmentation is just Ok, Nothing to rave about. You will need two swipes for the good color payoff. It did nothing to my look or to my skin tone. I don’t think this is the color for my skin tone. It gives a creamy finish and yes since it has argan oil, it is extremely moisturizing as well. 05 DEWY ORANGE BY LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR is extremely light weight lippy to wear.
The staying capactity of 05 DEWY ORANGE BY LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR is just ok too. The lipstick does transfer to everything you eat or drink so it is not going to last you long for sure. The shimmer in the lipstick tends to stick to lips so you might have a shimmery lips by the end of the day while the color will be gone long back.
05 DEWY ORANGE BY LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR is priced at 750 INR. It has a gold body with color coding at the bottom. I wonder why there is no mention of ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR on the body. The lipstick has round edges so application might not be that great for the thin or medium lips.
What are your thoughts on 05 DEWY ORANGE BY LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL LIPCOLOR. To be honest, It can be skipped for sure !
