AAMARI RESORT : LUXURY RESORT IN RAMGARH, NAINITAL

Hey everyone, hope you all are doing well!

This post has been pending for very long and honestly and I have genuine reasons for that. There are certain events in your life which are so unrealistically beautiful that you may just fall short of words while describing them. This is exactly what has been happening to me all this while. Each time I sat down to write down my experience at this beautiful property called Aamari Resort, I did not know from where to start. Starting from the journey all the way uphill to Ramgarh to the trekking bit…everything is just exhilarating. Anyway, finally I got my basics right and will be penning down each & every bit from my trip at Aamari Resort.

Much Away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, there is Ramgarh, a hill station in Nainital District, Uttarakhand. It is approximately 34 Kms above Nainital and a much more exotic and a secluded Hill station. Since we were driving down from Delhi, it took us approximately 40-50 minutes to cover the stretch from Nainital to Ramgarh. In fact we had to be really cautious while driving as the roads become very narrow after Nainital.

Then the beauty Arrives :

Well, I am not a believer of photographs… so till the time I enter a property, I am always doubtful. This time again I was proved right ! Photographs don’t always say the truth, Because Aamari Resort is much beyond what I saw in pictures. The first view of Aamari Resort left me without words for it was nothing less than finding a Pearl in ocean. Aamari Resort is a luxury boutique resort spread across 72 acres and is situated amidst hills, overlooking the Himalayas.

First day

Travelling is fun but it should be luxurious too. As I entered Aamari Resort, I knew there is something really good in store for me. The reception area on your left is calm and quiet and gives you a sense of relief that you are at the right place. We were then taken to our room. The stretch to our room with numerous stairs was all green, breezy and overlooking the mountain ranges. After a good walk for 5 minutes, finally I get to the room and this is what I see

Isn’t is just amazing? I don’t think so the picture has done the justice to the view that I saw from my eyes. The beauty left me awestruck!

And this is the washroom !!! I am very finicky about  this one

After a 7 hour-long journey, All that is needed is The Bed. After a break of half an hour we were served lunch.

Mutton Rogan Josh

Mind you, this place gets chilly in the evening so better carry your woolens along. As we chilled at the balcony of our Room amidst the flowers and the trees, Bonfire was arranged by the resort staff.

And Some Food for Hungry us !!!

Day 2:

Waking up as fresh as ever, started my day with morning tea and amazing breakfast on the table.

Then, we headed to the SKY VILLA; that was the ultimate highlight of our whole trip to the resort. Sky villa is approx 1.2 km above the resort. It is an independent villa which has three rooms, a kitchen, a balcony , a sitting area outside & gives you a 360 degree view of the serene surrounding of the resort. I was enthralled by the beauty as I was looking at the mountains, the clear sky, the birds around chirping & the sound of the wind blowing through trees.

Right after that, we went for trekking. The treks are narrow and steep so do not forget to bring those trekking shoes. It was one hell of an adventure.

By the time we came back it was evening and our muscles were dying to rest so we succumb to sleep after dinner .

Common’Sass ki Baat :
