This is a Monday post and I really hope that the Monday is treating you well .
Honestly, after working for so many years as a journalist, I have finally come to terms with Monday. Trust me, I don’t get any Monday blues . May be because I love you and my work so much. But for all those out there who do feel blue and black on Mondays, I thought of adding some glitter to the 1st day of the week. And here is my look book on how to be Bold with the Gold .
Pick up any fashion magazine of any year, There has not been a single time of the year when gold was not trending. From Hollywood to Bollywood, we all have witnessed the love for gold and glitter by the celebs. In fact, gold pants /jeggings are new black dress for this season and therefore a must have in your wardrobe.
However, wearing golden pants can be very tricky as you may end up looking over the top and the fashion police might shoot you for this. So better be careful girls .To look your best in your golden pants, pay attention to the fabric. The ones which I have are from this really super cool designer brand called Drama Queen Couture.
The golden pants that I picked up are wide legged, more like palazzo. Designer Nidhi Malhan from Drama Queen couture used Metallic pleated fabric which added so much of depth and flow to these pants and the icing on the cake is , pants are not just golden but metallic …wooooh I love them .
The toughest part is to balance the entire look else you may end up looking like a Christmas tree. Since the pants are flashy, I wore a plain simple black tank top. Makeup was kept very minimal and on the pinkish side.To add little glamour to the plain tank top, I wore simple and elegant choker with a dull finish. My nude heels completed the look .
I love to keep my hair open especially for the glittery days like these and I think my hair could just match up with the flowy golden palazzo

Commmon’sass ki baat : Never ever team your golden pants with a golden top or golden shoes. The safest bet is to go for black or nude shades to neutralize the bling of Gold.
