Hey loves,
I hope all of you are doing great as always!
This week has been really busy considering that I was attending Amazon India fashion week autumn winter 2017. Fashion weeks are always an experience, every time one goes for it there is so much to learn and explore. It is also fun as you got to get ready everyday and be as experimental as possible with your clothing. Honestly speaking, fashion weeks actually give you that liberty to experiment with your style.
Just like any other year, this time too for the Amazon India fashion week, I did my wardrobe preparations. As I started deciding my looks for the fashion week, I kept one thing in mind that this season it will be more about comfortable clothing for me .
Here is my lookbook for the 4 days at fashion fiesta
Day 1:
For the first day, I kept my look really sporty. I teamed my Zara Jeggings with really fitted body hugging crop top from forever new. The jegging are darkest blue so I added a bit of white in the look. The crop top has a white base with dark blue stripes on it. For shoes, I wore white shiny sneakers from Vans. I used a matte wine color for my lips while rest of the makeup was kept subtle.
Day 2:
This time around the Amazon India fashion week Autumn winter 2017 supported Indian Handlooms and Fabrics so I too decided to do my bit. I wore a beige colored khadi dress with a jute belt around the waist and teamed it with a short waist coat jacket. This particular jacket was lying idle in my wardrobe for quiet some time. It has thread embroidery and mirror work in the front and back. For the feet I wore beige swarovski studded ballerina.
As the outfit is not blingy enough for the fashion week, I went little heavy on makeup. I did smokey eyes with a lot of kohl for my waterline. Do notice the big fancy jhumkis loved them so much that I actually wanted to wear them everyday.
Day 3:
For the third day, I chose to go black and white. I wore this black and white horizontally stripped dress from veromoda. However, I experimented with my make up. I used really heavy silver eyeshadow with super winged glittery black eyeliner. I went on to use a super-duper matte red lipstick from Deborah to get my pout right. For the shoe I chose the most comfortable heels. The black pointed close toes heels from shoe tree did the magic for my entire look .
Day 4:
The last and final day, I decided to create a hotter look so I wore this short and hot black jumpsuit which has a low plunging neckline. Since I didn’t really wear heels any of the days, I managed my super hot black stilettos from Stevemadden. I used a lot of Golds & Diamonds to accessorize the All-Black look. I wore a delicate ruby and diamond necklace from Tiffany. Since fashion weeks are all about experimenting, I took out the vintage Gold armlet which is as old as 100 years and tied it on my right ankle. Never did I imagine that armlet could so classy and chic if worn as an anklet. The makeup was kept shimmery by using a lot of copper and gold tone extravagantly as my eye shadow with a dash of matte red on my lips.
Do let me know if you liked my looks at the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2017.
Lots and lots of love to the all the sassy people out there
